Allah has allow me to participate in this program organized by IKRAM Hulu Perak.
Alhamdulillah we have gathered some omount of money within Ramadhan and with that money we bought some daily needs like cooking oil, milk, sugar, rice, glutinous rice for Raya and kurma. we packed them in small packets where each pack would cost RM50.
For us, who 'makan gaji' and receive monthly alllowance, we wont feel that money is that much!! but subhanallah, do you know that it is so meaningful to some others?

I thank you for choosing me in participating this wonderful program. deep inside my heart, I am Touched, sad, happy and all those mixed feeling.
My group and I visited 5 houses.
I almost shed a tear even at the very beginning.
I always thought that nobody have problems with water and everyone have access to electricity. However, not this family. There are 4 persons living in that small little house. They don't have water supply so they fill their water tank by 'angkut-ing' water from the nearest river. And what shocked me is that, there is a small room beside it; made out of 'layers of zinc' i supposed. i thought maybe it is a store. but suddenly, a voice coming out from there and i saw a figure of a man, saying something that i myself couldn't understand. when we asked, that lady told us that he is her son. She couldn't afford to let him out as he will act aggressively and wonder around. Couldn't sit still. So they decided to keep him in his won 'room'. Sad? Yes I know, but having my own auntie as OKU I understood how she felt.
Then move to the second house, live a wonderful strong old lady. She is about 80+ years old, but still able to walk around, and fasting healthyly this month. Not only this month, but since the last 4 months ago. She had been fasting since March, continue to April and later with Rejab and Syaaban. SUbhanallah. Allah has given her strength to perform all the ibadah. looking at her, remind me of my grandma. she is talkative, gentle and kind. Now, she lives with her grandsons and grand-daughter as 4 of them had lost their moms and dad. So here come this lady, with all her strength, try to shower her 'cucus' with love. all words coming from her mouth is the word of syukur :') Hopefully I will always remember her and improve myself even more!!
Another 3 houses, i shall continue it later.
