A visit to someone's house

I forgot to write about it last weeks. Last Sunday I went to a friend of my friend house in Avondale. She knew her from Muhammad store where we normally purchase our monthly stock for chicken and meat. She met her last months and invite her to her house for Aidilfitri. But since we were busy, we postponed it till last week and here we are during lunch hour at her beautiful house. She has a moderate house but with a very interesting design inside. She painted it with soft purple which make you feel comfortable inside it. We have some appetizer first and we thought that was it. But we are wrong when she mentioned this is just the beginning. We have lots of foods for you. We were surprised, and our mouth wide open=O

So performed our solat first before we have our real lunch. We took our wudu and I just love the bathroom itself. I remembered Umi once said, "if you want to measure whether the house is clean or not, just check the bathroom" and yup at this moment I have to agree. Remind me of a 23rd hadith in Hadith Arbain which I loved so much.

Dari Abu Malik Al-Hariths bin Asyim berkata, Rasulallah bersabda, "membersihkan diri adalah separuh dari keimanan, ucapan Alhamdulillah akan memberatkan timbangan kebaikan, Subhanallah Walhamdulillah akan memenuhi ruang langit dan bumi, solat akan menjadi cahaya, sedekah itu merupakan bukti, kesabaran itu merupakn sinar dan Al Quran itu merupakan hujah yang akan membelamu atau menuntutmu. Setiap jiwa manusia melakukan amal untuk menjual diriny, maka sebahagian mereka ada yang membebaskannya dari siksa Allah dan sebahagian yg lain menjerumuskannya dalam siksaNya" (HR Muslim)

Then we were served with variety of food. From delicious Beriani, western Pizza and Pasta, Punjabi Tikka Chicken that I couldnt stop consume it, refreshing Salads. She gave us about 10 persons dish that 5 of us cant finish them all. All are delicious foods that we dont want to stop. But, we have to stop before our stomach going to explode. We keep on praising her and apologize for stopping early. Then she said, "I am sorry for over feeding you" That was the first time ever I heard someone told me that, and I laughed slowly. They just knew how to celebrate their tetamu and they really do. Rasulallah once mentioned in 15 Hadtith

Dari Abu Hurairah ra, bahawa Rasulallah saw bersabda, "Barangsiapa beriman kpd Allah dan hari akhir, hendaklah ia berkata baik atau diam, barangsiapa beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, maka hendaklah ia menghormati tetangganya dan barangsiapa beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, maka hendaklah ia menghormati tamunya" (HR Bukhari dan MUslim)

Thank you auntie for all those delicious food. And one more thing, I forgot to mention she is an Indian Fiji. So at the end, knowing that one of us love Hindi movie, she even gave us sets of latest hindi movies. I am so glad to meet someone who kind like you. And thank you Allah for the rezeki you gave us on that wonderful day.
