I dont want to ...

I was sitting in the Science Space together with few of my friends. But I don't really feels like studying regardless my final exam is just around the corner and got few datelines to be completed. But I 'appetite' of reading doesn't seem to appear at that moment. Regardless of my educational books, I pick up the Quran from my bag and began to read from where I left it last night. I was reading the 16th Surah, An-Nahl,16:1-14.

The Bee

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

[16:1]
The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him).

[16:2]
He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no God save Me, so keep your duty unto Me.

[16:3]
He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him).

[16:4]
He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent.

[16:5]
And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat;

[16:6]
And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture.

[16:7]
And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful.

[16:8]
And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not.

[16:9]
And Allah’s is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright.

[16:10]
He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky, whence ye have drink, and whence are trees on which ye send your beasts to pasture.

[16:11]
Therewith He causeth crops to grow for you, and the olive and the date-palm and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect.

[16:12]
And He hath constrained the night and the day and the sun and the moon to be of service unto you, and the stars are made subservient by His command. Lo! herein indeed are portents for people who have sense.

[16:13]
And whatsoever He hath created for you in the earth of divers hues, lo! therein is indeed a portent for people who take heed.

[16:14]
And He it is Who hath constrained the sea to be of service that ye eat fresh meat from thence, and bring forth from thence ornaments which ye wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing it that ye (mankind) may seek of His bounty and that haply ye may give thanks.

Each and every verse of it touches my heart. How Allah love us. Everything that was created on this earth are for us, the human being. We keep a cattle that was created by Allah the Almight and we use it for our own good. It gaves us food for you to eat, the transport to ride on and carried things that we are unable to. The rain being poured regularly for the human kind to drink, to bathe, and for the plants to live. But for what reason that Allah has created them? The answer remain the same, to satisfy the human needs. Subhanallah. Allah also mention that with His power, the sun rise and goes down just like they are asked to, and we never seem to fail to calculate the Prayers time even 100 years from now because the sun rise and fall 'seperti yang telah difardhukan ke atasnya'. AllahuAkbar. But, eventhough all this entire world are created for the human sake, but still we disobeyed Him, forgot what He has given us and on top of that we become a 'manusia yang tidak tahu bersyukur'. We dont even realize our own origin, from a little drop of fluid, 'air mani yang hina' BUT still Allah the Most Merciful given us the wonderful world like we see now 16:6 Subhanallah
So Fatihah, wake up and study. Jalankan kewajipan anda as a dai'e and learning is also one of the ibadah. So get up and learn, everthing here has been created for you, so what else you could do to repay him and show Him that you are a grateful 'hamba', Insya Allah

Ibrah Spiderman

Life is full of choises and the choise you made is what makes who you are. That is what spiderman 3 is all about. I watched it just now regardless do some revision for my assignments huhuh. But I got lots of input from this 2 hours movie.

Creepy Spider

Have you ever in a situation when you want to let your heart out to your friend or anybody? But instead of understanding, he or she only give you a long talk? How do you find yourself at that moment? Do you like it? Me myself sometimes straight away try to calm that person without even trying to put myself in her shoes. Now I realize it is wrong. That is how MJ is feeling I think. She need a friend who she can talk to, but instead of being a friend Peter only able to be a motivator. Maybe it may works sometime, but not all the time. Try to understand first, that only you could propose a solution. That is the main reason why the photographer and the father turned into a bad guys I think. People around them dont even bother to understand them, that is when the sand man said "I dont seek for forgiveness, I only askk for understanding".

Mexican Redknee Tarantula

I was touched by the spirit of the sandman in this movie. Eventhough he has turned into a sand, but he really tried to put himself together eventhough we knew that sand cant stand by himself and would definitely being blown when the wind blow, but he really try to stand up on his very own feet for his daughter sake. Ya Allah, what a great love you gave for a father towards his daughter. He tried to save his daughter eventhough he knew that stealing would make him being hated by the community and even his own family. But he dont mind all that. That is why we should always respect our parent and never even said a word like 'ah' to them. Like he said, "I am not a bad guy, I just have a bad luck". But I dont quite agree with that. We always have a choise, maybe we are desperate to do it, bad there is always a better choice. And luck is just like a fate. Bad thing did come, and we are not always on top of the wheal all the time. It is only about time for you to overcome it. We might think that it is bad for us, bad somehow I believe Allah has a beter plan for us. So, just look at the problem in a broad way and ask for others opinion, and Insya Allah you will find a better way out.

This story also remind ome of verse in Al-Quran.

"Kehidupan dunia dijadikan terasa indah dalam pandangan orang2 kafir, dan mereka menghina orang2 beriman..."[Al-Baqarah,2:212]

That is what I think what happen when he wore that black aka evel suit. He feels great and he dont want to take it off. Allah promise that as well. Only when we try to change it then Allah will change our fate.

"...Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan mengubah keadaan sesuatu kaum sebelum mereka mengubah keadaan diri mereka sendiri...."[Ar-Ra'd,13:11]

When Peter realized that he is in a wrong path, then only he tried to take the suit off. He tried hard and thats is why he is able to do it, eventhough it is hard.

So that is about SPiderman, actually I have lots more to share, but the mood of writing had disappear;) So till then.

Ibrahim (1)

I found a movie called Abraham the Messenger, a two hours movie with audio language that I never heard before, maybe Persian. It is an interesting movie, to refresh our memory of the prophet's history that we normally read in a book when we were little. But now, they filmed it and you could see it clearly how the story flows.

The story begin when Abrahim destroy all the idols(the sculpture they made out of stone) while the rest of the city when to a celebration of the revery of the 'god'. On top of that he left the biggest one with his hatchet's there. Realizing that all of their god had been demolish, Babylonian were mad and brought him to Namrood, a cruel king at that moment that should be woshiped even more than the effugies of god itself. At that moment, he he reveal that he is the Messenger of God and he provoked them with all kind of questions. "why dont you ask him, what he did to the other gods?" They answered angrily, "All know that gods dont speak, and dont move", and on here on he begin to provoke them with even more questions, "so you pray to the gods who neither useful nor harmful for this land". But Namrood refuse to agree Azar's nephew words. And thus he ordered him to be burnt. The fire was ablaze and logically he would die in no minutes. But with Allah's the Most Merciful send the angels to protect him, the burning fire doest feel anything and even birds came to save Him. And he was saved, Allah give life and takes life. It is non of human job to do it. He was so angry and he ordered for Abraham to go out of the Babylon. Namrood still not satisfy and now he ordered for a tower to be build so that he could go up and speak to Abraham's God. Ya Allah protect me from being far with You. So the tower was built but surely, he didnt able to do it. And on top of the tower, Allah showed him something. While he was trying really hard to do so, a mosquito came into his nose and obvioulsly it was hurt to have something stuck in your body. And that is the reason of the fall of the Great Babylon King. Here Allah taught us that even a great person can be died because of the small reason like this.

Palestin

Palestin? Dulu sebelum datang sini, saya selalu tertanya-tanya, ada apa dengan Palestin? Kenapa kita perlu ambil berat tentang Palestin, sedangkan banyak lagi negara yang dalam kesusahan? Kini apabila mengimbau kesemua persoalan yang pernah menerjah fikiran suatu masa dahulu, membuatku mengucap panjang. Ya Allah, jahilnya aku. Teringat ketika pertama kali aku mengikuti program ISK (Ini Sejarah Kita) pada tahun lepas, seorang senior mengajukan soalan yang sama sebagai pembuka bicara. Namun, apabila dia mengatakan isu ini berkaitan dengan soal akidah, aku TERPANA. Ya Allah, di manakah ak?

Baitul Muqaddis merupakan kiblat pertama orang Islam, sebelum ditukar kepada Masjidil Haram. Ingat tak dulu, kita ada belajar sewaktu sekolah menengah, Masjid Al-Aqsa adalah tempat ke-3 suci umat Islam selepas Masjidil Haram dan MAsjid Nabawi. Jadi, di sini pun kita dapat lihat, betapa tingginya kedudukan Palestin dalam Islam.

Menyoroti sirah para Nabi juga kita dapati banyak kisah Nabi bertempat di Palestin. Nabi Ibrahim mempunyai dua orang anak bernama Ismai (ibunya Siti Hajar) yang membesar di Mekah sepertimana kisah wujudnya telaga zam-zam dan Ishak (ibunya Siti Sarah) pula dibesarkan di Palestin. Kisah ini bermula sejak 2000SM. Nabi Ishak mempunyai 7 keturunan yang kemudiannya di gelar Bani Israil. (Nabi Ishak--N.Yaakob--N.Yusuf--dan seterusnya) Namun, oleh kerana Nabi Yusuf telah dicampakkan ke dalam telaga oleh saudaranya, baginda telah dibawa ke Mesir dan membesar di bawah jagaan Al-Aziz.

Manakala Nabi Musa pula, memimpin kaumnya sewaktu zaman pemerintahan Firaun dan disaat mereka diperintah masuk ke tanah Palestin, mereka ingkar seraya berkata

“Hai, Musa, kami sekali-kali tidak akan memasukinya selama-lamanya, selagi ada orang yang gagah perkasa di dalamnya, karena itu pergilah kamu bersama Rabbmu (Tuhanmu), dan
berperanglah kamu berdua, sesungguhnya kami hanya duduk menanti di sini saja.” (QS 5:24)

Mereka akhirnya dikutuk Allah dan sebagai balasan mereka hanya berlegar-legar di sekitar Palestin.

Namun, kisah yang paling hampir dengan kita umat Rasulallah s.a.w adalh kisah Isra' dan Mikraj dimana Rasulallah telah diMikrajkan ke Sidratul Muntaha di mana solat 5 kali sehari semalam telah difardhukan.

"Mahasuci Allah yang telah memperjalankan hamba Nya pada malam hari dari Masjidilharam ke Masjidil Aqsa yang telah kami berkahi sekelilingnya (Masjidil Aqsa dan daerah sekitarnya dapat berkah dari Allah dengan diturunkan nabi-nabi di negeri itu berikutan kesuburan tanahnya) agar kami perlihatkan kepadanya sebagian tanda-tanda (kebesaran) Kami. Sesungguhnya Dia Maha Mendengar, Maha Melihat" (Al-Isra',17:1)

Jadi, menjadi tanggungjawab kita memelihara kesucian tempat Nabi-Nabi kita. Palestin harus dipertahankan daripada mana-mana bangsa lain.

Sewaktu era pemerintahan saidina Umar r.a 638M, Palestin telah dimerdekakan dari jajahan Romawi dan seluruh penduduk Palestin hidup aman dan damai dibawah kebebasan beragama. dan sekali lagi, Palestin berjaya dibebaskan dari cengkaman tentera Salib, dibawah pimpinan Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi.

Jadi, sejak zaman berzaman kita dapat lihat para sahabat cuba menguasai Palestin yang kini menjadi tempat pertumpahan darah. Jadi sama-samalah kita mendoakan kesejahteraan saudara-saudara kita di sana, semoga Palestin terus menjadi milik umat Islam, amin

Seringan2 Azab Neraka

ust came back from a Kuliah Maghrib held at the university. Kakak senior tayangkan video ceramah oleh Ustaz Haji Shamsuri. Dalam sesi kali ini, beliau menerangkan tentang rahmat dan kasih sayang Allah di padang masyhar kelak.

Di padang mashar, yakni tempat perkumpulan manusia sebelum kita semua dihisab. BAyangkan betapa sesaknya tempat tersebut, kesemua manusia sejak zaman Nabi Adam iaitu sejak bumi pertama kali dicipta hinggalah ke kaum yang terakhir, kaum nabi Muhammad s.a.w. dihimpunkan. Menanti giliran sebelum dihisab segala amal perbuatan kehidupan sementara kita di dunia. Keadaanya sesak, hinggakan manusia tidak mempunyai ruang untuk berdiri di atas kaki sendiri melainkan berdiri di atas orang lain. Menanti giliran yang tak kunjung tiba. Dengan syafaat baginda Rasulallah s.a.w, Insya Allah kita akan menjadi kaum pertama yang dihisab.

Salah satu perkara yang membuat saya amat tertarik apabila ustaz menerangkan tentang seringan-ringan azab yang diterima manusia di neraka kelak adalah, dua putung api neraka diletakkan di bawah tapak kaki. Dan meskipun hanya dua putung, ianya dapat menyebabkan otak manusia menggelegak. Ya Allah, betapa peritnya siksa neraka, dan seburuk-buruk tempat kembali adalah neraka. Moga kita mampu meraih rahmat dan kasih sayangNya dan mohon dijauhkan dari azab yg pedih ini.

MuwasafatvTarbiyah

10 ciri individu muslim atau dalam bahasa arabnya 10 muwassafat tarbiyah. Daripada apa yang saya tahu, 10 ciri ini diambil daripada kisah nabi musa a.s 10 ciri tersebut adalah

1. Akidah yang sejahtera (Salimul Aqidah)
2. Ibadah yang Sahih (Sahihul Ibadah)
3. Aklak yang Mantap (Matinul Khuluk)
4. Kuat tubuh badan (Qawiyul Jismi)
5. Fikiran yang berpengetahuan (Mutsaqqal Fikri)
6. Mampu melawan nafsu (Mujahadah ala Nafsi)
7. Menjaga waktu (Haarithun ala Waqtihi)
8. Tersusun dalam urusan (Munazzamun fi syu'unihi)
9. Mampu berusaha (Qadiran ala Kasbi)
10. Berguna untuk orang lain (Nafi'un li ghairi)

Sama-samalah kita berusaha untuk memenuhi ciri tersebut=)

Purpose of Life

Pernah tak kita terfikir mengapa kita diutuskan di muka bumi ini? Mengapa kita perlu melalui setiap liku-liku kehidupan ini dan adakah sebenarnya kita benar-benar mengejar apa yang kita cari?Adakah kekayaan yang kita cari?adakah segulung phD menentukan kita sudah cukup berjaya di dunia?Adakah keselesaan hidup yang kita cari?Memiliki rumah yang besar?Kereta yang mewah, akan memastikan kita akan bahagia buat selamanya?Pernah kah kita terfikir, mengapa kita berada di sini?

Alhamdulillah kita telah dilahirkan sebagai seorang Muslim, Selawat dan salam buat Rasulallah dan para sahabat yang memperjuangkan Islam meskipun menghadapi pelbagai onak dan duri dalam menyampaikan syiar Islam hingga nikmat Iman dan Islam itu dapat kita kecapi hari ini.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلإِنسَ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُونِ

Aku tidak menciptakan jin dan manusia melainkan agar mereka beribadah kepada-Ku [Az-Zariyat,51:56]

Ibadah dari segi bahasa adalah merendah diri, tunduk, dan memperhambakan diri kepada sesuatu manakala dari segi syara' ibadah adalah tunduk, patuh dan merendah diri kepada Allah s.w.t. Perkataan ibadah berasal dari root word 'abd' yang bermaksud acknowledging someone other than oneself as holding supremacy or enjoying overlordship and of abdicating one's freedom and independence in big favour, of relinquishing any resistance to or disobedience of him, and of surrendering oneself totally to his authority. Since slavery or bondage too are tantamount to similar status, the first sense the word conveys to the mind of any Arab is of this very factor, namely, slavery or bondage.[1]

Allah juga ada menyebut dalam surah Al-Baqarah bahawa manusia juga dijadikan sebagai khalifah di muka bumi ini. Ini juga merupakan satu bentuk ibadah. Khalifah berasal dari perkataan khalif yang juga bermaksud pengganti manakala khilaf pula bermaksud kepimpinan.[2]

Merujuk kepada surah Al-Baqarah,2:30

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰئِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي ٱلأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُواْ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّيۤ أَعْلَمُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Dan (ingatlah) ketika Tuhanmuberfirman kepada para malaikat, "Aku hendak menjadikan khalifah (khalifah bermaksud pengganti, pemimpin atau penguasa) di bumi". Mereka berkata, "Apakah Engkau hendak menjadikan orang yang merusak dan menumpahkan darah di sana, sedangkan kami bertasbih memuji-Mu dan menyucikan nama Mu?" Dia berfirman, "Sungguh Aku mengetahui apa yang tidak kamu ketahui". [2:30]

Jadi tugas utama kita di muka bumi ini adalah untuk beribadah kepada-Nya. Dan ibadah boleh dilakukan dalam belpagai cara samada ibadah wajib seperti solat dan puasa manakala ibadat sunat pula mencakupi pielbagai hal seperti sedekah, solat dan puasa sunat. Hatta senyum juga merupakan satu sedekah. Apa yang penting, segala yang dilakukan adalah kerana ALlah ta'ala. Itu yang paling utama. Semoga kita berjaya mencapai redha Ilahi sebelum bertemu dengan-Nya.
